Suspect follows, stabs man in chest

GLEN BURNIE, Md. - Police arrested a man after he stabbed a man in the chest in Brooklyn Park.

Police arrested 41-year-old Joseph Dumsha of Pasadena Friday night after he ended an argument by stabbing an acquaintance in the chest. A witness told police Dumsha and the victim began arguing in Brooklyn Park when the victim got in a car and drove away. Dumsha followed the man and got out at a stop light trying to continue the fight.

The victim finally got out of his car in the 400 block of Browning Court in Glen Burnie where Dumsha attacked him again—this time with a knife. The man tried unsuccessfully to defend himself with a shovel but ended up stabbed in the chest. He was taken to Shock Trauma for treatment.

Police found Dumsha at the scene. He was  arrested and charged with attempted 2nd degree homicide, assault and reckless endangerment.
