Shop owner turns shotgun on robbers

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Two men trying to rob a jewelry store with a gun got their own scare when they found themselves staring down the barrel of a shotgun.

Anne Arundel County Police say they responded to Adore Jewelry in the 2000 block of West Street in Annapolis shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

According to police, the store owner told them two men tried to rob the store with a handgun.  When the owner pulled out a shotgun, the two men ran.

Police searched the area, but weren't able to find the two suspects.
