The Annapolis Police Department thinks someone has a crucial tip that will help them solve a murder that happened last month.

They want to know who killed Charles Carroll Jr. last month, and they're willing to pay for it. The reward for information about his death has been raised to $7,000.

Carroll was the son of Reverend Charles Carroll, a leading voice on stopping gun violence.

Carroll Jr. was shot to death inside a car after crashing into the Bywater Mutual Homes complex.
