ANNE ARUNDEL CO., Md. (WMAR) -
The Maryland Natural Resources Police say there has been a rash of boat battery thefts throughout Anne Arundel County.
On January 31, Anne Arundel County Police arrested a suspect in possession of 12 marine batteries, however, the thefts have continued.
Police are asking the public around the County to check their vessels to see if they have been a victim of theft. Also police say the public should etch a unique serial number into your battery so it can be identified if stolen.
