Police search for suspect in WaWa robbery

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Anne Arundel County Police are asking for the public's help in locating a man who was involved with an armed robbery in a WaWa store.

According to police, on December 22 at approximately 11:30 p.m. officers were called to the WaWa on Admiral Drive in Annapolis for a reported armed robbery.

Police say a white male in his mid 50's wearing a cream colored jacket and blue jeans entered the store and displayed a small knife while demanding money.  The clerk complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect entered a red four door midsize vehicle and headed on Admiral Drive towards Jennifer Road.

Patrol officers with K-9 units and Air-1 searched the area but could not find the suspect.
