Anne Arundel County Police are investigating an armed robbery at a liquor store in Brooklyn Monday afternoon.

Officers responded to Village Liquors at 720 Church Street around noon. An employee told police that two men entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanded money. Two customers in the store were ordered to the ground while the store employee placed an “undetermined amount” of money into a bag, according to police.

The customers on the ground were ordered to get their money out as well. Police said the suspect, armed with a handgun, discharged the weapon into the wall while getting money from the store clerk.

No injuries were reported.

The suspects, one a black male, 16-20 years old, wearing dark clothing and carrying a black revolver, and the other, a black male, 16-20 years old, wearing a black shirt and gray sweat pants, left the store and fled the scene, police said.

Police canvassed the area, but weren't able to locate the suspects.
