The Anne Arundel County Police Department is offering a $10,000 reward for information in the murder of a Baltimore man.
Arnold Lee Bowman, who was 44, died in the hospital March 25 after being found unresponsive in an alley in the area of Ritchie Highway and Belle Grove Road, Baltimore, the night of Jan. 7. Police initially reported the incident as a stabbing.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled Bowman’s cause of death as multiple wounds with the manner being homicide, police said.
Police said homicide detectives worked with Northern District Detectives to secure the crime scene and search for evidence. Police said officers were able to collect numerous pieces of evidence at the crime scene and at the hospital.
Detectives spoke with “numerous witnesses” and recovered surveillance footage that shows the suspect chasing the victim. The footage shows the suspect wearing a “hoody styled sweatshirt and long pants.”
Anne Arundel County Police are urging anyone with information to come forward by calling the homicide unit at 401-222-4731. Sources wishing to remain anonymous can call the tip line at 410-222-4700 or Metro Crime Stoppers (1-866-7LOCKUP) or text "MCS plus your message" to CRIMES (274637).
Anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible could be eligible for the reward.
