Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a double shooting in Shady Side Thursday.
Police responded to the area of Scott Town Road and Nick Road around 12:30 a.m. for a report of gun shots heard in the area.
Officers arrived to find a man and woman dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Police have identified the victims as Linda McKenzie, 44, and Leslie Smith, 48.
Police said the victims were romantically involved and lived together on a boat on Rock Hold Creek in Deale, Maryland. Police are investigating the case as a double murder.
