Police make arrest in supermarket shooting

LAUREL, Md. - Anne Arundel County police arrested a man wanted in connection to a supermarket shooting in Laurel last week.

Sean  Macattram,  of no fixed address was arrested Sunday in Laurel.  Authorities said Laurel City police got a tip on McAttram's whereabouts and detained him for Anne Arundel County police Sunday afternoon.

Anne Arundel County Police Spokesman Justin Mulcahy said Macattram is being held at the county detention center on $50,000 bond.

Police say on Sunday, December 8  Macattram wrestled gun from a security guard at the Weis Market in the 3300 block of Corridor Blvd. and fired off four rounds. The guard was trying to stop Macattram after he suspected him of shoplifting.  No one was injured in the shooting.
