Police investigating BB&T Bank robbery in Odenton

ODENTON, Md. - Anne Arundel County police are looking for the person suspected for robbing a bank Wednesday in Odenton.

Police said at approximately 2:40 p.m., officers responded to a report of a bank robbery at the BB&T Bank located in the 1200 block of Annapolis Rd.

Witnesses told police that a male walked into the bank and demanded money while implying he had a weapon. An undisclosed amount of money was turned over to the suspect before he ran out of the bank.

Police said the male then entered the passenger side of an older model four-door gray vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 5-foot-7, 175 pounds, wearing a dark green ski mask with a white skull on the front, a black hoody with gray stripes on the hood, gray cargo pants and dark-colored tennis shoes.
