ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Annapolis Police found a man who broke into a home sleeping in the house early Saturday morning.
According to police, officers responded to a home's burglar alarm shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday morning on Frederick Street.
When police arrived, they found a window that had been broken and 30-year-old Nathan Cummings of Crownsville sleeping in a conference room used by a consulting firm called The Artemis Group.
Police say they found Cummings on a ledge with his boots off, and could smell a strong odor of alcohol on him.
When officials asked the suspect to remove his hands from his hooded sweatshirt pockets, Cummings refused forcing police to tase him.
Police say Cummings will be charged with third and fourth degree burglary, malicious destruction of property, and resisting arrest.
