ARNOLD, Md. - Anne Arundel County police are investigating a suspicious death after the discovery of a body Wednesday in Arnold.
Police have identified the victim as Diana Kapnistos Hester, 49, of 1304 Farley Court in Arnold, Maryland.
Police said at approximately 7:18 a.m., a man walking his dog discovered the body of a female lying on the grounds of the golf course near the 15th hole tee box at Bay Hills Golf Club. Due to the nature of the incident, police said their homicide unit has taken over the investigation. The Office of the Medical Examiner was en route to the scene Wednesday afternoon. It is unknown how long the body was there before being discovered, but it appears to have been several hours, police said.
