SEVERN, Md. - Two stolen puppies were returned to their owner after being swiped from their Severn home earlier this week.
Police said the owner of the blue pit bull puppies showed them to a potential buyer on February 5 at his home in the 1100 block of Patuxent Road. No sale was made, but the next day both dogs were missing.
On February 7, an investigation led officers to the 8200 block of Dunfield Court in Severn where the puppies were located.
Police arrested Ashley Thomas, 21 and Tennese Koffa, 22. Both were charged with two counts each of felony theft. Charges are pending on a third suspect.
