Pizza delivery man punched, robbed in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, Md. - Many families order out for pizza on a Friday night, but one delivery turned violent for a man in Glen Burnie.

Anne Arundel County Police said a Papa John's driver was walking to deliver some pies to an apartment building in the 400 block of Glen Mar Road around 10:00 p.m.

The man was confronted by at least four men.  Police explained the victim was punched and knocked to the ground before having his phone and wallet stolen.

The robbers ran off and haven't been found since.

The victim had what police are describing as minor injuries and did not need to be treated

While the description of the suspects are vague, police describe them as black men around their 20's.  They were wearing black jackets, dark colored boots and masks over their faces.

The victim told police he last saw the robbers running away from Crain Highway toward Phirne Road.
