A teenage girl is dead and another teen connected to her shooting is in police custody, Annapolis police said.
Kymici Brown, 17, of Annapolis was rushed to Anne Arundel Hospital around noon Monday after she was shot inside a home on Tyler Avenue.
Police said she died of her injuries.
Nineteen-year-old Ryan Surgeon of Laurel was arrested and is awaiting his initial appearance in District Court.
Police said he will be charged with first and second degree murder.
