Person of interest arrested in connection with death in Glen Burnie homeless camp

GLEN BURNIE, Md. - Anne Arundel County police Tuesday arrested a “person of interest” possibly involved in the death of a person in a homeless camp in Glen Burnie, according to the department’s official Twitter feed.

Officers were dispatched to the 7400 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. for an assault in progress at about 7:40 p.m., officials posted on Twitter.

“At this time an exact cause of death is unknown. Additional details will be forthcoming. #GlenBurnie,” reads a tweet regarding the ongoing investigation.

No further details were released prior to 10 p.m. regarding the identity of the victim or the suspect. Anne Arundel County police did not return calls Tuesday night seeking comment.
