Pasadena man busted for growing almost $160,000 worth of marijuana

A Pasadena man faces numerous drug charges after police found 536 marijuana plants growing in his basement, plus cocaine and pills, Anne Arundel County Police said. 

Richard Paul Youngbar, 56, is charged with possession of marijuana, cocaine and oxycodone hydrochloride, as well as intent to distribute these substances. 

Police raided Youngbar's house in the 8300 block of Youngbar Drive Friday. The marijuana alone was worth $159,880, they said. 

Police also found more than 30 grams of cocaine in the master bedroom, with an estimated street value of $3,064. They also found 185 Oxycodone pills, and various other prescription pills with an estimated street value of $5,600.
