ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Anne Arundel County police are searching for a pair of men wanted for stealing nearly $2,000 in seafood from an Annapolis grocery store.
Police said the alleged theft occurred on Jan. 29 at the Subway located on Housley Rd. A review of surveillance video revealed the men removed six boxes of whole frozen lobsters and two boxes of frozen lobster tails.
One of the men, who police described as the "heavier balding suspect," placed the seafood into a shopping cart before leaving the store. The shopping cart is then pushed out of the store by the second suspect. The food is valued at $1,960.
Police said the same two males are suspected in the theft of large amounts of frozen seafood from Safeway stores in Towson, Perry Hall and Bowie.
Anyone with information on the thefts are asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers or Anne Arundel County police at 410-222-1961.
