Pair arrested after forcing way into home during robbery

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Two men are in jail after police say they forced their way into a home, threatened to shoot the people inside and robbed them.

Annapolis Police say they arrested Jalen Hayes and Alique Rashard shortly after a robbery on Thursday morning.

According to the department, the people in the home in the 1100 block of Madison Street answered the door and Hayes and Rashard allegedly forced their way in, demanded money and said they would shoot the people inside.

The pair allegedly took a cell phone, punched someone in the face and ran. Police found them in the area of the house and arrested them.

Both are facing robbery, burglary and assault charges.
