More than $12K in drugs recovered in van

BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (WMAR) -  

Anne Arundel County Police are looking for a 31-year-old Baltimore man after they found $12K worth of drugs in a vehicle he was driving. 
 
On Monday, officers responded to the Sleep Inn on Belle Grove Road for a report of an unauthorized use of a vehicle. Once on the scene, officers spoke with a woman who said her boyfriend, Reginald Woodson, had her rental vehicle and wouldn't return it. 
 
When officers found Woodson, he was seated in the Ford van accompanied by a female in the passenger seat. Officers detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana and asked both occupants to step out. 
 
Woodson fled the area on foot while officers were tending to the passenger in the vehicle. 
 
A search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of 121.2 grams of suspected Cocaine, 56 baggies containing suspected Crack Cocaine or 11.1 grams, 10.7 or 44 gel capsules of suspected heroin, a digital scale with white residue, $10,360 in US currency and various drug related tools.  All together a total street value of $12,479. 
 
Marquile Young, 31, the passenger of the vehicle was charged with 3 counts of possession not marijuana, 3 counts of possession with the intent to distribute and 1 count of possession of paraphernalia. 
 
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Reginald Woodson, 32, is asked to call police.
