SEVERN, Md. - A man robbed a Severn bank Friday, getting away with an unknown amount of cash, police say.
His getaway vehicle? A blue bicycle.
Officers were called to the Bay Bank just after 3:30 Friday afternoon for an alarm sounding at the bank.
The bank manager told police a man passed a note to the teller demanding money. After getting the cash the man fled the area on a blue bicycle. He is described as wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a black hat and carrying a black back pack
Police found the abandoned bike in the shopping center parking lot but were unable to find the suspect.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
