Man charged with robbing convenience store

Annapolis police have charged a man with robbing a convenience store at gunpoint. Police say he also robbed the same store in October.

Thirty-four-year-old Aaron Carbaugh of Shady Side was arrested Saturday and charged with armed robbery and other offenses.

Police say early on Dec. 4, Carbaugh entered the 7-Eleven wearing a masked and brandishing a handgun. Officers say he fled on foot after getting cash. Authorities say a vehicle Carbaugh allegedly stole from a former employer had evidence of the robbery.

Police say Carbaugh also robbed the same 7-Eleven on Oct. 6. Officers say service is pending for a warrant for that crime.
