A man and a woman were stabbed after a family dispute in Severna Park Saturday.
Anne Arundel County Police responded to an assault in the 1100 block of Old County Road at 10:40 a.m. Victims told police that an unwelcome family acquaintance, identified as Peter George Forlifer, 35, of the 1500 block of Postal Road in Chester, Md., came on foot to the residence and walked to the back of the home.
Once inside, police say Forlifer fought with and stabbed a male victim. A woman in the home tried to intervene and was also stabbed.
Officers were called and took Forlifer into custody. The male victim was transported to Shock Trauma for non-life threatening injuries. The female victim was driven by a family member to Anne Arundel Medical Center, also for non-life threatening injuries.
Forlifer was charged with attempted second-degree murder, home invasion, first and second-degree assault and first degree burglary.
