BROOKLYN PARK, Md. - A man standing in line at a discount store was assaulted and robbed in Brooklyn Park Saturday morning.
Police say around 9:15 a.m. the 43-year-old Baltimore man was in line to pay for his items when he took cash out of his pocket. The victim said the suspect, “came out of nowhere” punched him in the face and put him in a chokehold from behind. He grabbed some of the victim’s cash and fled north across the parking lot.
Police searched the area but were unable to find the suspect.
