A jury convicted a Pasadena man for killing a woman at the Medical Arts Center in Glen Burnie two years ago.

Joseph Patrick Soule, 28, was found guilty of second degree murder on Friday for the 2014 death of Christie Pelland.

Pelland's body was found on May 12, 2014 at the Medical Arts Center, where she worked as an overnight cleaner. She was stabbed 66 times and cut an additional 20 times.

Investigators discovered that Pelland met Soulea week before her death to buy drugs.

Detectives collected numerous pieces of evidence pointing Soule to the murder, including her blood inside his car and cell phone tracking data that pinned Soule in the area at the time Pelland was killed.

Soule faces up to 30 years in prison. A sentencing date has not been set.
