US Customs and Border Protection officers arrested a Jamaican woman Monday after discovering nearly three pounds of cocaine in her baggage at BWI airport.

Trudian James, 30, and the cocaine were turned over to Maryland State Police.

James arrived at BWI at 4:30 p.m. During a secondary baggage examination, an X-ray detected a mass. The white, powdery substance test positive for cocaine.

The cocaine and packaging weighed about 1300 grams or nearly 2 pounds, 14 ounces. The drugs have a street value of $90,000.
