Heroin, pen gun seized during Glen Burnie drug bust

GLEN BURNIE, Md. - Anne Arundel County police arrested two people Thursday as part of a drug bust, during which officers confiscated heroin and a .22 caliber pen gun among other items.

Police said at about 7 p.m. detectives executed a search warrant at 104 Chesapeake Ct Room 300.  As a result, heroin, a .22 caliber pen gun, money, and drug paraphernalia were recovered.

Michael Hill Jr., 30, of Glen Burnie and Amber Jones, 24, of Severn, were charged with drug possession, drug possession with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during a drug crime.

Police said they recovered the following items during the search:

  • 8.06 grams of heroin  (approximate street value $970)
  •  4.91 grams of marijuana (approximate street value $50)
  • 1.09 grams of MDMA "Ecstasy" (approximate street value $100)
  • Drug paraphernalia, including digital scales and packaging material
