Hanover man arrested on drug, burglary charges

A Hanover man was arrested on July 1, for possession of heroin and cocaine following a burglary investigation, Anne Arundel County Police said.

Joseph William Walker, 23, was arrested following an investigation of a burglary that occurred on June 30 on Alderney Court. During the burglary, the suspect entered the home of his neighbor to forge a check and attempted to cash the check at a Bank of America near Arundel Mills, police said.

Walker has broken into the home in the past, according to authorities.

Walker has been charged with theft, burglary, falsifying documents, and possession of heroin and cocaine, police said.
