SEVERNA PARK, Md. - An Anne Arundel County man is in jail after police say they caught him with a GPS that led them back to a ransacked car.
Officers say a man called them Tuesday evening and said someone went through his car overnight. When officers got to the victim's house, he described a suspicious car that was driving through the area.
After searching the area, officers found a car matching this vehicle's description and searched it. In the front seat of the car, officers found a GPS that was programmed to an address in the neighborhood. When officers went to the address they found a car that had been broken into, police said. Officers also found other cars in the neighborhood had been ransacked.
