Police investigating armed robbery of Glen Burnie Rite Aid

GLEN BURNIE, Md. - A Rite Aid in Glen Burnie was robbed on Memorial Day and the investigation into the crime is ongoing.

Around 11:26 a.m. Monday, officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department were called to the business, which is located in the 1700 block of Crain Highway South.

An employee told officers an unidentified person walked into the Rite Aid and showed the clerk a note demanding money. The clerk fulfilled the demand, turning over an undisclosed amount of money to the robber, who then ran out of the store.

The investigation is ongoing and no further information was available.
