Glen Burnie man suspected of stabbing neighbor

GLEN BURNIE, Md. - A Glen Burnie man was arrested for allegedly stabbing his neighbor.

Anne Arundel County police said at about 5 p.m. Thursday officers responded to the 100 block of Martha Road for a report of a stabbing.

Upon arrival, officers located the 51-year-old male victim in the front yard of his home suffering from stab wounds to his upper body. Police said the victim and suspect were neighbors that were engaged in an argument. At some point, the suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim.

Police said the suspect was found at his home and he was taken into custody without incident. The victim was transported to Shock Trauma with minor stab wounds.

Nicholas John Pappas, 40, of the 100 block of Martha Road, was charged with attempted second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and possession of a deadly weapon with intent to injure.
