Glen Burnie man arrested in indecent exposure cases

GLEN BURNIE, Md. - A Glen Burnie man has been arrested and charged in connection to a series of indecent exposures in Anne Arundel County.

Robert James Hess, 39, of the 1500 block of Ingalls Rd., has been charged with fourth-degree sex offense, indecent exposure and disorderly conduct, Anne Arundel County police said.

Hess’s arrest came after police released surveillance pictures of the person suspected in the incidents. The images were distributed to the media and displayed on social media. Within hours, a tipster who saw the images on Facebook called in a tip identifying a possible suspect.

Police said they initial thought was that there could be two suspects, but investigators were able to confirm that this suspect was responsible for all of the indecent exposure incidents.
