Anne Arundel County Police are asking for the public’s help in finding and identifying a man who robbed a Citgo Gas Station at 7237 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie Tuesday night.

Investigators say the robber hit six separate stores in Glen Burnie and Severn.

Now it’s a manhunt to find him and a push from police to use caution if you see him.

Police spokesman Marc Limansky isn’t mincing his words.

Anne Arundel County Police need help finding the robber, who’s getting away with lots of cash.

“It’s just cash. In each occurrence, he’ll come into a store, roam around for a few minutes. In one occasion last night, then back in, then displayed a knife,” Limansky said.

Store security cameras caught the man in action.

“The same gentleman entered a Citgo gas station along Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie displayed a knife, demanded cash. The clerk complied. He fled from the area. It’s the same guy we’ve been looking for, same description,” Limansky said.

…with the same agenda – fast cash.

While no one has been hurt, police still consider the robber to be dangerous and a problem for those trying to do business in the county.

“He’s armed with a knife, so he’s dangerous to that degree. He hasn’t used the knife physically on anyone, but he has displayed it and you can’t get inside of his mind to know what he’s going to do next,” Limansky said.

He adds if you think you see the man police are after, do not approach him.

Simply call police from a safe distance with the information you have.

Officers were unable to find him in the area. He is described as a black man wearing a gray polo shirt, black sweatpants and a red baseball hat. He was captured in the store’s surveillance footage.

Anyone with information should contact Anne Arundel County Police.
