GLEN BURNIE, Md. - A man claimed he was just hungry and needed to charge his cell phone when he broke into a Glen Burnie business Saturday night.
Anne Arundel County police said officers responded at approximately 11:02 p.m., to the Dollar General store located in the 7300 block of Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. in Glen Burnie for a report of a burglar alarm.
Police said they saw that someone had entered the store. Officers then observed a man, identified at Randon Wilkerson, 22, of the 8800 block of Ostilly Court in White Plains, walking through the isles in the interior of the store.
Wilkerson was arrested without incident. He told police that he went inside the business because he wanted to charge his phone and eat some food. A small bag of partially eaten potato chips from the store was located on Wilkerson, police said.
