ANNAPOLUS - Police arrested four men after officers caught them selling drugs at an Annapolis hotel.
The four men jumped out of a window when police knocked on their hotel room door.
Anne Arundel County officers became suspicious when they saw a drug deal take place at the Extended Stay Hotel on 1 Womack Drive in Annapolis around 9:40 Saturday night.
An Investigation led police to room 329. While they knocked on the door, two men inside jumped out of a three story window and fled. Two more men jumped out of a window in room 331.
While executing a search warrant in the room detectives found 1 gram of heroin, close to 7 grams of marijuana and evidence the drugs were intended for sale. Officers also recovered a loaded Beretta handgun a suspect dropped during his hasty escape. Investigation found the gun was stolen during a Calvert County burglary.
Three suspects were rounded up on Bens Drive in Annapolis. A third suspect, a 17-year-old was arrested as he walked on Route 2.
All four suspects were charged as adults with various possession, distribution and handgun charges.
