BROOKLYN PARK, Md. - Anne Arundel County police have charged five people in two separate drug busts in Brooklyn Park and Glen Burnie.
Dawn Christina Inocencio, 36, of Baltimore was charged with possession of a controlled substance that’s not marijuana after police executed a search warrant June 11 on a home in the 300 block of Old Riverside Drive in Brooklyn Park. Officers found 10 capsules of heroin worth about $490, and $734 in cash.
Police have also charged Vernell Jamore Williams, 23, of Annapolis, Marcus Ravon Johnson, 23, of Annapolis, Joseph Alexander Lusk, 22, of Edgewater and Michael Covington Elliot, 20, of Prince Frederick with distribution and possession of a controlled substance following a Thursday bust.
Around 12:15 p.m., Anne Arundel officers from the Eastern District Tactical Patrol Unit were checking a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Green Orchard Drive in Glen Burnie.
During the investigation, detectives found more than $2,160 worth of heroin and $220 worth of marijuana.
Detectives also seized a 2003 Audi A6 and $210 in cash.
