Police have now identified the shooting victim of the Brooklyn Park shooting as Trayvon Briscoe, 21, of Brooklyn, MD.
Detectives say calls went out around 6:42 p.m. for a report of shots fired near Levin Road and Alley 16.
When they arrived, police found Briscoe suffering from trauma to the upper body and lying in the alley.
Once medics arrived to the scene they pronounced Briscoe dead.
The body of the victim was sent to the Medical Examiner’s office to determine the exact cause of death.
Detectives canvasses the closed off area for witnesses and details that could explain the events leading to the death of Briscoe.
This investigation is still ongoing and Anne Arundel County Police are asking anyone with information to call the homicide unit at 410-222-4731 or the tip line at 410-222-4700.

A unidentified person was fatally shot in Brooklyn Park Friday.
At 6:45 p.m. officers responded to a shooting at Arundel Road and Alley 26. One person was confirmed dead at the scene, according to police.
The shooting is still under investigation.
