Family of unsolved Anne Arundel County hit-and-run victim raise money to increase reward

It’s been almost a year since Samantha Kreppel passed away.

Last August, Samantha was hit and killed by a 1980’s Mercedes along Bayside Beach Road in Pasadena, and the driver has never been found.

Though Metro Crime Stoppers is open to collecting tips about Kreppel’s death, tips have stopped coming in.

Kreppel’s family will be holding a fundraiser from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Pasadena Crossroads Chick-fil-A on Thursday.

Patrons that visit the Chick-fil-A and purchase a meal using the family’s flyer will be donating a portion of the cost of their meal to Metro Crime Stoppers reward and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
