Maryland Del. Don Dwyer has filed to run for another term in the Maryland House of Delegates, according to the Maryland Board of Elections.
The Pasadena Republican, who represents District 31, has continued to be a source controversy in the state legislature after having a series of run-ins with police.
On Nov. 9, a judge ordered Dwyer to serve weekend jail-time as part of a sentence related to two DUI-related cases over the past year.
In Aug. 2012, Dwyer's boat collided with another boat. Prosecutors said Dwyer drank eight beers and had a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit at the time of the crash.
