Glen Burnie community members are trying to raise funds for a young woman who's mom died on Mother's Day.
Charlotta Barkley was fatally attacked in the parking lot outside of her apartment complex Saturday night. After an overnight search, Anne Arundel County Police arrested her boyfriend. Michael Wilson, 42, was charged with murder, attempted murder and assault.

Someone else tried to break up the fight and was also hurt. She has been released from the hospital.
According to the fundraising page, Barkley was the financial provider for her daughter. The community wants to help her continue her college education by covering some of the costs.
