Balltimore woman charged in hit-and-run

A Baltimore woman has been charged in connection to a Brooklyn Park hit-and-run, police said.
Anne Arundel County police charged Robbin L. Sears, 54, with failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
The crash happened at about 12:37 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Ritchie Highway and Camrose Avenue.
A 57-year-old man, identified as Michael J. Diegel of Severn, was found in the northbound lane of Ritchie Highway and was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with severe head trauma.
On November 1, crash investigators from the Traffic Safety Section located a gold 2001 Chevrolet Venture van near the Anne Arundel County line with damage consistent with a hit-and-run.
Sears was identified as the owner of the van and taken into custody.
