Arson suspect at large in Anne Arundel County

Anne Arundel County fire investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a Glen Burnie arson Saturday morning.

 

Fire Investigators Seek Public's HelpInvestigators from the Anne Arundel County Fire Department Fire and Explosives Investigation Unit are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect in an arson fire in Glen Burnie this morning. Just before 5:00 a.m. firefighters responded to an auto fire in the 6100 block of Harris Heights Avenue. Due to the suspicious nature of the fire, investigators were requested to the scene.Their investigation located video evidence and are requesting the public's help in generating leads for a suspect. Based on the video, the suspect is a male, approximately 6', and has a mustache/goatee. The suspect is most likely suffering from facial and or hand burns. The photo displays what is possibly a Nissan Altima or similar vehicle. Just before 5 a.m. firefighters responded to a vehicle fire in the 6100 block of Harris Heights Avenue. Due to the suspicious nature of the fire investigators were called to the scene.

Surveillance video of the moments before the fire started show a man,  approximately 6-feet tall with a mustache/goatee. Police said the suspect is most likely suffering from facial and or hand burns. The video also shows what is possibly a Nissan Altima or similar vehicle.
