Armed, masked men rob Verizon store

ODENTON, Md. - Three masked men robbed an Anne Arundel County Verizon store at gunpoint Friday night, police say.

According to a  press release, one of the men was armed when they walked into the Verizon store in the 8700 block of Piney Orchard Parkway in Odenton just before 8:30 pm and demanded phones and cash. All three men were dressed in black and wearing gloves and masks.

Police say employees turned over phones and money and the suspects fled. They were last seen leaving the store and getting into an older model silver Jeep Cherokee.

Police discovered the Jeep was stolen from the 700 block of Linden Grove Place shortly before the robbery.  The suspects ditched the car in the 1000 block of Autumn Gold Drive.
