Investigators with the Anne Arundel County Police Department made arrests February 16 and 18 that they say removed about 87 ounces of marijuana from the streets.
The first arrest came at approximately 8:20 p.m. February 16 as members of a task force executed a warrant at 1714 Gunwood Place in Crofton. Upon searching the residence, detectives seized about 68.8 grams of suspected marijuana with an estimated street value of $1,376, 10.9 grams of suspected powder cocaine with an estimated street value of $981 and 2.8 grams of suspected heroin with a street value of $336.
Also seized from the residence was a Remington 870 Shotgun loaded with three slugs and $4,356.
Casey Davis, 33, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of other drugs with intent to distribute and handgun violations.
The February 18 arrests came at about 6:35 p.m. as teams executed a warrat at 415 Pine Terrace in Glen Burnie.
Upon searching the residence, detectives seized approximately 2,401 grams of suspected marijuana with an estimated street value of $48,038. Also located in the residence was a Glock 21 handgun, a Ruger P89 handgun, a Saiga shotgun, a Precision .223 Rifle and an FN Scar Rifle along with approximately 6,000 rounds of assorted ammunition.
Additionally, a large amount of suspected steroids was recovered and $17,819 was seized. Two suspects were arrested and charged accordingly.
A third suspect has charges pending the outcome of the analysis of the suspected steroids.
The suspects in the Pine Terrace bust are identified as Harrison Walcott Hickman, 23, of 415 Pine Terrace Glen Burnie and Samantha Beatty, 23, of 415 Pine Terrace Glen Burnie.
