SEVERN, Md. - Anne Arundel police have arrested a pair of brothers accused of stabbing a man Friday night in Severn.
County police on Monday arrested Curtis Matthew Howard and Gary Jamal Howard, both 24.
The stabbing occurred just before midnight in the 8500 block of Pioneer Drive in Severn. The victim, a 30-year-old man, had been involved in a fight with the brothers, police said.
At one point during the altercation, the victim was stabbed multiple times. Police said the Howards fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma with serious non-life threatening injuries, and is in critical but stable condition.
Numerous officers canvassed the area, but couldn’t find the brothers at first. With the assistance of Western District detectives, the two were identified and arrest warrants were issued for both on Saturday.
