Anne Arundel police link man to three armed robberies

PASADENA, Md. - A Pasadena man has been arrested and Anne Arundel County police have connected him to three armed robberies in the area.

Police have charged Christopher Glenn Miller, 36, with armed robbery, robbery, firearm use in commission of a violent felony, false statement to an officer, theft less than $1,000, first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment after arresting him Tuesday.

Police said at approximately 1:53 a.m. police responded to an armed robbery of a 7-Eleven located in the 8900 block of Ft. Smallwood Road in Pasadena. In that case, a man committed a robbery and fled in a black Ford Expedition as well.

The robbery suspect fit the description of the person police were searching for in connection with two similar robberies on Sunday. The first took place at about 1 a.m. at the 7-Eleven, located in the 3800 block of Mountain Road in Pasadena. The other robbery took place around 5:30 p.m. at the Luckie’s convenience store located in the 7700 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie.

Following the most recent robbery, police said they created a mobile perimeter around the general area of the crime. Officers soon located a black Ford Expedition close to where the robbery occurred.

Police then stopped the vehicle and recovered numerous items linking the driver to the robbery that had just occurred. Investigators also linked Miller to the robberies of all three businesses.
