Anne Arundel police arrest man in Glen Burnie bank robbery

GLEN BURNIE, Md. - Anne Arundel County police arrested a Millersville man for robbing a Glen Burnie bank after someone identified him through Facebook.

Gregory Paul Harring, 27, was charged with armed robbery, robbery, first- and second-degree assault and theft in connection with the robbery Thursday at TD Bank in the 7900 block of Crain Highway.

Police said Harring entered the bank and passed a note to a teller, implying he had a weapon and demanding money. The teller gave Harring an undisclosed amount of money, and he ran off.

Police posted images of Harring on social media, and got a tip from someone who saw the pictures on Facebook. Around 4 a.m. Friday, police found Harring in the area of Chalet Drive in Millersville and arrested him.
