Anne Arundel County police identify victim of fatal hit-and-run in Pasadena

PASADENA, Md. - Anne Arundel County police have positively identified the victim of a fatal hit-and-run accident from earlier this week in Pasadena.

Police said Samantha Nichole Kreppel, 20, of the 1600 block of Colony Road in Pasadena, was killed after being struck by a vehicle near Bayside Beach Road and Belhaven Avenue. Her body was discovered at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Police believe an older model Mercedes Benz was involved in the accident. The vehicle in question—possibly a 1982 or 1985 Mercedes 300,400 or 500 series passenger car—should have  damage to the front right side, and/or damage to the hood, fender or glass, according to a news release from Anne Arundel County police.
