GLEN BURNIE, Md. - Anne Arundel County police have been looking for a person exposing himself in the Glen Burnie area.
Detectives asked for some help from the public and the public came through.
For the last two weeks, Anne Arundel County Police have been getting complaints of a man exposing himself to women in the 7400 block of B & A Blvd.
“The most recent at a Five Below store in the Glen Burnie area,” said Anne Arundel County police spokesman Lt. T.J. Smith. “It's becoming very concerning to us.”
Police said his person stepped up his activities and actually became physical.
“He went into a store and grabbed a girls rear end, again became very concerning to us because we didn't want this to become anything more,” Smith said.
Police released some surveillance pictures to the media yesterday and even relied on a new source of information.
“Using the new social media platforms that are available to us to get a picture out to thousands and thousands of people on their mobile devices and their computers, right in the general area where this guy might be living and perpetrating these crimes is a great resource to us,” Smith said.
Police say they received a tip quickly identifying this person and they made an arrest, who investigators have yet to identify. Police are interviewing the suspect now.
“We actually believe there are other female victims out there that might have been exposed to this man and we would like them to call police immediately,” Smith said.
