Police believe two men who robbed a 7-Eleven store at the Anne Arundel County and Baltimore City line staked out the business, waiting for an opportune moment to strike.

The convenience store was empty of customers when two men jumped the counter and pushed the woman working out of the way before grabbing cash out of the register, according to Anne Arundel County police.

"We can assume that they were probably outside watching the store until there were no customers inside and once the store was empty and just had the female clerk in there , that's when they entered the store," Lt. Ryan Frashure of the Anne Arundel County Police Department said.

It happened around 11:32 p.m. Wednesday at the 7-Eleven in the 4000 block of Ritchie Highway. The two men left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
